ABOUT DSKC

Then

Drugstore KC started in 2013 in an empty building formerly known as Katz Drugstore. Thanks to a partnership with Redeemer Church, DSKC offered studio spaces for artists with a wide variety of creative practices.

As the community changed, Drugstore responded. We are no longer a housed in a brick and mortar space, we are a resource connecting artists to all spaces.

And now

We are redefining what artist support can look like. We want artists to be able to be artists: to take risks, create, and feel at home, right here in Kansas City.

We live in a diverse city with lots to offer, yet inaccessible funds and rising housing prices make it tough to seek out the space needed to succeed.

We believe there is a future here where community support is viable and valued and can make a difference. Want to join us?
